SAND CASTLES

This last week tricked myself into seeing Death Sentence, 1408 and The Walker. Avoid, avoid, avoid - if it's still not too late. I mean, I really don't care about the money, but is there any way at all I could just have my time back? No, I didn't think so. Fuck, what a waste.

You saw 1408?

You poor man. I feel like I should send you a sympathy card or something.

1408. What a terrible movie. Stephen King needs to stop writing 'things'.

I felt the same way about Captivity and the When A Stranger Calls remake. Ughh. As much as I love horror cinema, that specific genre has also given birth to the worst films that you could ever see.

Still, at least there's Saw IV to look forward to - oh, and apparently a fifth Saw film IS being made! Must think positive about them...

yes, Captivity was truly and utterly dire - Saw IV can't come soon enough and you've cheered me up no end with the promise of a Saw V, as I'd previously read that there weren't to be any more

"1408" was the best film set in a hotel starring John Cusack since "Identity".
