Patrick, I remember that shocking video being extensively shown on TV here in the UK, at the instigation of revelations from (amazingly) Murdoch's rag News Of The World. And the bullying and intimidation is widespread enough within the forces, let alone to those they're supposed to be 'liberating'. I find teasing the thirsty kids with the water somehow more symbolically poignant and resonant of the tragedy.

Wow, that's pretty low, even for the United States. How could they be so cruel and heartless? I don't know about the human race sometimes.
sypha_69: this is nothing new, nothing to wonder about, this is how it goes, and it will never change.
I highly reccomend Peter Davis' 1974 documentary "Hearts and Minds" which I believe has recently been re-released. It leaves no room for doubt.
I can endorse that documentary too, essential viewing.
