Thanks for reposting this. Very engaging, immersive sounds. Don't suppose you'll ever take this set (or something like it) on the road at some point?

Terrific work, William. You are really onto something. It reminds me a tiny bit of Esplendor Geometrico but much more developed.

By the way, have you heard Venancio Mbande? It's like a zig-zagging army of marimbas. Really visceral but quite complex, too.

finally getting to listen to this now... excellent and intriguing new direction and i can't wait to hear more. nicely captures the feel of african music in a contemporary context.
