Photographer Paul Russell has posted a small collection of nice pictures of yellow reflectives (thanks to Steve for the link). Light-hearted relief perhaps from all the recent images of viz'd-up ID-less kettle-squads brutalising student demonstrators (example). Still not to be trusted though and pillocks, the jacket once donned, each and every one.

Very nice, particularly #2
I feel the scorn and join in readily, perhaps mostly as I'm an unwilling Yellow Reflective myself :( I work in the construction industry and frequently am forced to wear these bastard vests or face expulsion from site and loss of earnings (when in the UK only, I might add). I recall one particular incident some years ago, while working in the rain: I wore goretex trousers and jacket in a nauseating array of colours - certainly enough to be seen from the next town - if not from Uganda ... Yet had some H & S lackey read me the riot act over refusing to wear an even trippier outfit.
Alas, we're all very much aware of how awful they look and often how impractical these fucking things are to work in, especially when they get wet.
Spare a though for us, eh? B====D ~~~~~~
or even a thought.
